I am trying a 7-day trial on half of new signups
Fourteen days gave people room to forget. Seven may just give them room to feel rushed. I will read the sessions before I trust the conversion line.

I have been adjacent to this. The sentence I would not skip is "Seven may just give them room to feel rushed". Finding who it is for mattered more than adding another feature.
I am not convinced "Fourteen days gave people room to forget" is the constraint yet. The people who saw it may have been the wrong room.

I am close to opening a small B2B tool. The price is settled. I am not sure a free tier would help someone reach the useful part, or just leave me with accounts that never see an invoice.

- Someone came back three weeks after the trial ended
I had written them off. They returned, finished the setup they had abandoned, and paid. I almost deleted the 'trial ended' state that still held their work.

- I am keeping the plainer headline for another week
Nobody praised it. Two people repeated it back correctly. That is the test I said I would use, so I am using it, even though the sharper line is still in a draft.

- The trial email linked to a 404 for a day
A route rename. The message was otherwise fine. A handful of people hit the dead link. I have mailed them the right one. The checklist now includes clicking the actual email, not the preview.
