Someone came back three weeks after the trial ended
I had written them off. They returned, finished the setup they had abandoned, and paid. I almost deleted the 'trial ended' state that still held their work.

What was the first sign you trusted in "I had written them off"?
Keep the workspace. The expiry can lock the door without burning the furniture. I deleted data once and the apology was the whole afternoon.

View more- Would you launch with free trials or a freemium plan?
I am close to opening a small B2B tool. The price is settled. I am not sure a free tier would help someone reach the useful part, or just leave me with accounts that never see an invoice.

- I am trying a 7-day trial on half of new signups
Fourteen days gave people room to forget. Seven may just give them room to feel rushed. I will read the sessions before I trust the conversion line.

- Four people finished setup without a call this week
That has not happened before. The change was the empty state sentence, not a new step. I am not throwing a launch for it. I am leaving the sentence alone.

- First invoice, four months later than the plan
Someone paid for LaunchTrail this morning. The plan on the wall said January. It is fine, and it also took longer than I told my friends it would. I am leaving the old date up so I remember the estimate was the fiction.
