I took notes and then built from memory anyway
The memory was smoother than the notes. It dropped the objections. I am going back through the docs this week before I touch the roadmap. Mildly ashamed, posting it so the notes win.

I am not convinced "The memory was smoother than the notes" is the constraint yet. The people who saw it may have been the wrong room.
I highlight only the sentences where they describe a workaround. If I cannot find one, I did not learn anything in that call. Memory keeps the compliments. The workaround is the product.

I left it empty and reread older notes instead. The code would have felt productive. The notes reminded me which sentence I keep skipping because it is inconvenient.

- Two calls this week and I am resisting a rewrite
Both people described a different workaround. I want a pattern. I have a pair of stories. The work this week is to book more calls, not to move the interface around.

- I spent three months building something nobody wanted
I am writing this down because I wish I had heard it plainer. I built the workflow I wanted, skipped customer calls, and launched to a quiet list. The product is not bad. It is just not urgent for anyone I can find.

- I ran the disappointment survey and the score was ordinary
Forty percent said they would be very disappointed. The essays were more useful than the percentage. A few described a job I do not think I am selling.
