Permissions are parked until a second team asks
One team needs them. I can solve their case by hand. Building a model for a single organization would be a way to avoid the work I already know matters.

Can someone finish the job if "Building a model for a single organization would be a way to avoid the work I already know matters" stays turned off?
Respectfully, "I can solve their case by hand" is an observation, not yet a decision. What number would make you reverse it?
I have been adjacent to this. The sentence I would not skip is "One team needs them". Finding who it is for mattered more than adding another feature.

Three customers asked for the same export. It is real money, and it pulls the product toward a reporting tool I did not set out to build. I do not want to be precious about the roadmap either.

- A public roadmap became a pile of unofficial promises
I posted a column called next. Two customers treated it as a date. I missed the date because a bug took the week. I would like the transparency without the contract I did not mean to sign.

- I slipped a launch to fix a status delay
The status page was late by a few minutes and the launch post was ready. I shipped the fix and held the post. It feels like the grown-up choice and also like I am hiding.

- Dark mode is the most requested feature and I keep skipping it
It shows up in every survey. It is not why someone stays. I feel stubborn when I ship an import fix instead. I also know the survey rewards the answer that is easy to name.
