The MVP has a settings page and no daily use
I kept adding flexibility because early calls asked for it. The result is a product that can be configured into several tools and is the default for none of them.

I would stay with "I kept adding flexibility because early calls asked for it" for the week already named. A quieter result is still a result.
Pick the workflow you heard in the last five calls, not the union of them. The union is how the settings page appears.
I have the settings disease too. I hid a page of options behind a single recommended setup and support got quieter.

My calls end with encouragement. I leave without a story I can build from. I think I am presenting the idea too early and they are being nice.

- I spent three months building something nobody wanted
I am writing this down because I wish I had heard it plainer. I built the workflow I wanted, skipped customer calls, and launched to a quiet list. The product is not bad. It is just not urgent for anyone I can find.

- The AI draft is fine and customers still want to edit every line
We added a draft for a status update. People use it and then rewrite it. I am not sure that is failure. It might be the product. I am unsure how to price a feature that is a starting point.

- Open source issues are outrunning the paid hosted version
I like the issues. They are also a second inbox. The hosted product is what pays for the week, and it is getting the leftovers.
